1. The Smize-This is the commonest expression that you will find your feline displaying. Notice the exposed belly and wide, inquisitive eyes. They are making plans for Saturday night and those plans are always evil. You need to remember to be wary when the weekend comes around. Dab holy water behind your ears, throw salt over your shoulder, and eat canned tuna in your closet. No good can come of this.
2. The Punchbug-This expression occurs when your cat is feeling lonesome. When their teeths are exposed and they sit on their haunches, it means they need a cuddle. Pick them up and squeeze them. If they squeak and squirm, it means you're on the right track. They'll use their toe-knives to let you know when they're satisfied.
3. The Fannypack-Your cat is happy to see you when they're using this expression. See how their stalk eyes are pointed to the sky? Place them on a lettuce leaf and the good times will keep on rollin'
4. Upside-down Frown-When your cat looks like this you need to get them something to play with fast! They're ready to frolic! You'd better keep up!
5. The Flavor Demon-Watch out when you see this expression. Your cat is famished and she'll eat anything that gets in her way. The way she folds her wings and clacks her beak means that she is seriously ready to eat. I hope you have a supply of dead rats handy!
6. The HappyCat Express-You can tell that you have one happy kitty when you see this. Notice how the ears are back and the eyes are narrowed. Get ready for a trip for Napland! First stop: Cuddle Town!
7. Smiles for Miles-Your cat is ready for an afternoon stroll! Put down whatever you're doing and get them out the door. They want to see the world! See the wistful look in this guy's eyes? The lackadaisical body language lets you know that your pet needs to get up off that animal-couch.
